CONSULTATION: Book your consultation by returning to the main page of the app and select consultation from. Your bespoke journey begins with a 1 hour, 1-1 virtual consultation with Anita, our head designer, via video call. The consultation costs £30, which will be deducted from the final garment price if you proceed with your order.PRODUCTION TIME: We require a minimum of 4 - 6 weeks, depending on the complexity of the design. However, if you need a shorter time frame, feel free to send us a message on WhatsApp (0044) 7930 345740 , and we'll do our best to accommodate your request.STARTING PRICE: Our bespoke starts at £200. Pricing can go up depending on the detailing of the design, lace, stones, embroidery, and how elaborate the garment is.PAYMENT PLAN: We offer a payment plan, depending on the total amount, our payment is usually split into two instalments after the consultation fee is deducted.SHIPPING: We use DHL or parcel Form shipping company from Lomé, Togo. Welcome to La Fille Noire (LFN), a bespoke fashion design house that creates one-of-a-kind garments tailored specifically to your measurements and vision. To ensure a smooth and transparent collaboration, please read the following policy carefully.Please Note: By signing this agreement, you acknowledge and accept the terms outlined below.1. Fabric SourcingFabric is selected collaboratively between the client and Anita (Director of LFN). We will source or produce the agreed fabric. If the fabric is highly specific, clients may opt to ship it themselves or direct the LFN team to its location. Once fabric is purchased, there are no refunds, though it can be shipped to the client (shipping cost must covered by the client).2.Consultation & Design Process (please have a tape measure ready)Initial video consultation includes measurement guidance, sketching, schedule breakdown, and answering questions. Garments are designed based on the measurements provided during this consultation.- Fittings In certain cases, a muslin prototype will be created and shipped to the client. A follow-up video call will be scheduled to adjust the prototype if necessary before it’s shipping back to LFN studio. LFN will cover all of the shipping costs for this muslin sample. LFN has no physical store outside of its Togo studio, therefore there are no In-person fittings unless agreed and arranged by special agreement.- Weight Fluctuations:For garments that will take more then 6 weeks to construct, Clients must inform LFN at least 4 weeks before the due date via WhatsApp or email given at the consultation, if they experience weight changes that may affect the garment fit. Anything under 6 weeks will be at an additional cost.3. Consultation rescheduling or cancellation To reschedule, please text us at +44 7930 345740 with the word ‘RESCHEDULE’, your booking name, and your preferred new date. Cancellation Policy: Please note that the consultation fee is non-refundable, If you cancel less then 72 hours of your appointment time or if after the consultation you decide not to proceed with La Fille Noire, however if we cancel you will be entitled to a full refund.4. PaymentsA £30 consultation fee is required before booking. If you proceed with LFN, this is deducted from your total. If not, it is non-refundable and the sketches remain the property of LFN. After consultation, a 50% of the garment cost (minus the already deducted consultation fee) is required on the date placed on the invoice to begin work. The remaining balance must be paid at least 10 days before the shipping date.5. ShippingClients are responsible for shipping costs for the already finished garment, which are calculated based on dress weight. LFN only ships via DHL with tracking reference which will be provided to the client.PLEASE NOTE: Once your garment leaves our workshop and your reference number is provided, LFN will NOT be responsible for any lost or damages caused by external factors. However we will assist in liaising with the shipping company for a solution where necessary.6. Garment Storage PolicyLFN will hold completed garments for 30 days post-completion. If full payment is not received or the item is not collected: A £150 inconvenience fee will be added to your balance. If not paid within the grace period, the garment may be resold. No refunds or exchanges will be issued under these circumstance
7. Additional Fees May Apply For:Design alterations not originally agreed upon, additional features or elements added after the initial design, independent sourcing of specific materials by LFN.8. Design Changes & Right to RefuseIf a client changes their mind about the style after the first fitting, LFN reserves the right to refuse these changes. In cases where this may cause issues beyond LFN team’s control, LFN staff may also choose to terminate the collaboration in such cases. The deposit will not be refunded. Note: Abuse or inappropriate behaviour toward any LFN staff member will not be tolerated. LFN reserves the right to end services without notice in such cases.9. Refund Policy
Before work starts: you will receive 90% refund of the payment made at the time except the consultation fee.- If fabric has been purchased: We will deduct 10% & the fabric costs (client may request the fabric at their own shipping expense). - If we design the fabric, you will either not be entitled to the fabric back or we will deduct 45% of the payment made, to cover for the time we spend to creating the fabric. - After work begins: We will deducted 50% & the fabric cost refund.- After garment is completed: No refund & client must still pay shipping. If WE cancels YOU will get 100% refund issued.This agreement is in place to protect both client and designer, and to ensure clarity throughout the process.
